As you consider your impact this year, we invite you to read the story of our neighbors Carla and Isabella.
Carla and Isabella came to The Storehouse expecting to only receive food. Instead, they found a community, language classes, and volunteer opportunities. More than that, they found confidence and hope.
Isabella also created a beautiful desk calendar for our Storehouse donors this year. With your gift of $50 or more, you will have the opportunity to receive a calendar to remind you of your impact throughout the year.
Carla is enrolled in The Storehouse's ESL classes. She recently completed the 102 level in the fall semester and will resume classes in the spring.
Isabella volunteers every Saturday during the 12-week ESL semester. She started as a teaching assistant in spring 2024 and is now a co-teacher in the ESL 100 class level.
